Pick the address that fits your message and it’ll reach the right person faster. We aim to reply to everything, with safety reports handled first.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services (such as 911 in the US or 112 in the EU) first.

Questions about using Gibbur, your account, login or email verification problems, bugs and feedback. Many answers are already in our FAQ.
Safety & abuse
Report users who break our Community Guidelines, appeal a ban, or flag a safety concern. The fastest way to report someone during a chat is the Report button. When you email, include the approximate date and time of the chat and what happened.
- Minors on Gibbur: if you believe someone is under 18, report them in the chat and email us. We remove minors immediately.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or exploitation: email us right away and also report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children’s CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org. Please do not save, screenshot or send us the material itself.
Privacy requests
Requests to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and questions about our Privacy Policy or Cookie Policy. You can also delete your account yourself in Account settings. Please send requests from the email address on your account so we can verify it’s you.
Legal & law enforcement
Legal notices, copyright (DMCA) and other intellectual property complaints, arbitration opt-outs, and requests from law enforcement and government agencies.
What to include in a law enforcement request
- Your name, agency, badge or ID number, official email address and phone number;
- the legal process (subpoena, court order, warrant or equivalent) attached as a document;
- the identifiers you’re asking about — for example, the date, time and time zone of the chat, IP address, account email or report ID; and
- the specific information requested and any deadline.
Please note that chat message text is never stored in our database; it exists only in server memory for up to 2 hours, so we generally cannot produce past conversations. Preservation requests should be sent as early as possible.
Emergency disclosure requests
If there is an imminent risk of death or serious physical injury, email legal@gibbur.com with the subject line “EMERGENCY DISCLOSURE REQUEST”, describe the emergency and why the information is needed to prevent harm, and include the identifiers above. We review these requests as a priority and may disclose information voluntarily where the law allows.
Press & everything else
Press inquiries, partnerships and anything that doesn’t fit above. Put “Press” or a short topic in the subject line and we’ll route it.
Company details
We handle requests by email; please use the addresses above rather than postal mail where possible.
